Timing & Delivery


Turnaround Time
By turnaround time we mean the amount of time it takes us to produce an order, and prepare it to ship. This does not include the time spent in transit while shipping.

  • January - October: 1-5 business days
  • November - December: 6-10 business days

If your order is time sensitive, you can select a faster shipping method, or call us to inquire about our current turnaround time.

Shipping
Shipments to regular street addresses in the United States and Canada are done via UPS. Shipments outside the U.S. and Canada are done via UPS Worldwide Expedited where available. Shipments to Post Office boxes are done via United States Postal Service Priority Mail. Please contact us if your shipping charge cannot be calculated at the time of your order.

We cannot guarantee delivery dates, nor can we anticipate or control the delays or mistakes sometimes made by shipping companies. We are only responsible for the time an order spends in our office. If you wish to control delivery time more closely, you may want to choose UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air.

We cannot control or vouch for whether a mail carrier or delivery person will leave a package without a signature. Please make arrangements directly with the carrier if you have a special request.

We are working on having tracking information sent with each order confirmation. Until this is possible, feel free to contact us to track your package.

Special Requests


Transferring Images Between Collections
Stationery items are available with the images posted. However, it is possible to make a custom request and use an image from one collection on a different item (e.g. customer wishes to use the "love peach" image from the Note Card collection on Memo Paper). There is a $20 charge for this.

To make this request, place your order for any other image in the collection you wish to order from (e.g. select "starfish" Memo Paper), and personalize the item as usual. Proceed through checkout. On the top of the Order Confirmation page is a section for writing notes. Write in that box your request to use a different image, and authorizing us to charge your credit card the additional fee. (e.g. "Please use the Love Peach image instead of Starfish on the Memo Paper. I authorize Felix Doolittle to charge me the $20 fee.")

New Images Added to Website
Images are added and refreshed on a regular basis, solely according to Felix's discretion. We welcome customer suggestions, which Felix will take under advisement. We do not promise that a requested image will be created, nor can we guarantee when or if that image will be added to our website. Creation and installation of new images cannot be anticipated or predicted, and such information cannot be provided. Please check the website regularly for new additions.

If you wish to hire Felix to do a custom piece of artwork, please see the section entitled "Commissions".

Layout Options
Layout standards, including card orientation and text placement is pre-set by the studio for all items.

Text layout for personalized items is done at studio discretion. Your information is copied into the stationery exactly as you've written it, and then manually adjusted to best fit the space, and to reflect Felix's design sensibility.

Please contact us with any custom requests, and we can inform you of their feasibility, and of the charge for any changes requested.

Customer Font Style & Color Options
Felix Doolittle is bound to respect customer font style and color selections, and cannot take responsibility for these choices.

Commissions


Commission Requests
If you wish to have a custom image created just for you by Felix, please contact us directly. We can inform you of his availability for such work, and will provide you with information about how to proceed in obtaining a quote for this service. Product Variations & Changes


Product Changes
Felix Doolittle reserves the right to remove or change any item at any time. Individual products, images, or options may be removed without notice; we reserve the right to decline to fill any special-request orders for old product, images or options not currently available.

Product Variation
We print everything ourselves in our studio, as each order comes in. Slight variations in paper and print color may occur. We reserve the right to change paper or ink at any time without notice. However, our prices will remain commensurate with the quality and weight of the paper we use, and the highest Felix Doolittle standards will be maintained.

Usage Restrictions


Personal vs. Business Use
Felix Doolittle wishes to reserve all his stationery for personal use only. We will not honor orders that include a business or organization name of any kind as that involves the illustration being used as branding or logo. If a business wishes to contract Felix for logo or branding development, please send an email to felix@felixdoolittle.com to inquire about the fees and process. Specific business titles such as manager, owner, etc. will also not be printed.

We are happy to honor professional suffixes (such as M.D. or Esq.,).

Order Accuracy


Proofs
No proofs are provided.

We copy and paste what the customer has written. Please double check yourself carefully when placing your order. Felix Doolittle is not responsible to "catch" or to edit customer spelling, punctuation, abbreviation, capitalization or any other personalized text or characters.

Grammatical Conventions
There are many differing grammatical conventions, and also many things that are not grammatically correct, but which are acceptable in modern English parlance to many. We cannot make a judgment call on behalf of customers because the idea of what is "acceptable" varies so widely. We take no responsibility for the choices customers make, nor are we obligated to contact a customer to "double check" their information. Again, please enter the information carefully and check an outside source if you have any questions on grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.

Return Policy


Return Policy
In the event of customer "change of mind"

  • Non-personalized orders can be returned to us, at customer expense, for a full refund of the item cost. Shipping will not be refunded. The refund will be processed after we have received the returned stationery and can verify that it is in saleable condition.
  • Personalized orders cannot be returned for a refund. We ask customers to select colors and fonts carefully, as these are a final customer choice and cannot be changed after the stationery has been printed. We also urge customers to proof their orders very carefully as we cut and paste what is written.

  • Proof your order carefully!

In the event of defective goods or a mistake made by Felix Doolittle

  • The defective or incorrect items will be replaced immediately and re-shipped from our studio at no charge within 48 hours. Should your order be time sensitive, or should other special conditions exist, please inform us accordingly and we will make every effort to meet your needs.
